How many oxygen molecules do we inhale in each breath?

Dani Martinez

How much oxygen do we breathe in a day?

An average human while resting inhales and exhales about 7 to 8 liters per minute. The total is 11,000 liters per day. Inhaled air is 20% oxygen, Exhaled air is 15% oxygen

What?

Why do we need oxygen?

Why?

  • Oxygen is used to burn fuel in our bodies such as the cells and fatty acids in our body to create energy
  • Oxygen feeds our brain.
  • Oxygen is also our body's cleansing tool.
