What I learned This Summer:
- Comparing and Ordering Integers
What I Learned This Summer
Absolute Value
- Absolute value measures the distance of any number from 0 on the number line.
- Distance is always positive, so the answer to any absolute value will be positive
Absolute Value
Compare and Order Integers
- When comparing Integers we use the symbols:
- > Greater Than
- < Less Than
- = Equal To
- We can order integers from greatest to least, or from least to greatest:
- least - smallest integer
- greatest - biggest integer

- The exponent of a number says how many times to multiply the number
- Exponents are shorthand for repeated multiplication of the same thing
