I would place Mr. Run P.E. in the Columbia Basin because there are a lot of irrigation canals in the Columbia Basin for him to work at. Another reason would be that he loves cold winters with no snow and the Columbia Basin has just that, very cold winters with little to no snow. He also likes hot summers and the Columbia Basin has very hot summers from temps ranging from the 90's to 100's degrees Farenheit.
The Columbia Basin is North of the Palouse Hills, South of Okanogan Highlands, East of Western Cascades, West of Idaho and the Palouse Hills

Mr. Darwin Science placed in the Palouse Hills
Mr. Darwin Science

Placed in Western Lowlands
I would place Mr. Ancient History in the Western Lowlands because he could live in Seattle which is a major urban enviroment and in Seattle he can work at nightclubs and become an owner of one or he can become a bartender because Seattle has a lot of bars for him to work at.
The Western Cascades is North of Oregon, Sounth of Canada, East of the Coastal Region, and West of Western Cascades
Geographic feautures in this region consist of Pudget Sound, the Skagir River, Stillaguamish river, the Snokomish river, and Nisqually river
The vegetation of the Western Lowlands are limited because of all the urban areas. But the vegetation they do have are the Pacific Madrone. the Oregon Ash, Garry Oak and the endangered Golden Paintbrush.
The climate of the Western lowlands is that it always is rainy and cludy around the coast and inland, they have warm and dry summers, 40 inches of rain per year, with a moderate 39 to 65 degrees Farenheit all year long.
The econmy of this region of this region is mostly fishing and tourisn. Other least major industries in this regiona are fruit farms, and butchers.

Placed in Coastal Region
I would place Mr. Algebra Math in the Coastal Region because in his description it says he has always lived by the ocean and this region is by the ocean and that he loves boats so he will do just fine here. And since this region is by the coast he could join the Coast Guard and since there are many hunting grounds and places to fish here he will blend in just fineand this place has little to no air polluyion so his Asthma will not have to be a problem.

The Coastal Region is South of Canada, North of Oregon, Eastof the Pacific Ocean, and West of the Western Lowlands.

Placed in Okanogan Highlands
I would place Mrs. Novel Reading in the Okanogan Highlands she wants secluded areas and the Okanaogan is secluded as you can get in Washington and since there are mountains in the Highlands she could have her mountain cabin and since the economy is basically mad up of Logging and Mining she can write that book she wanted to write.

The climate of this region are Hot and dry summers, less than 12 inches of rain per year on average, cold and wet winters, with no snow just rain.
THe economy and industries of this region are logging, mining, wineries, and vineyards are all the moneymakers of this region.
The differences are that the west side of Washington get more rain than the east side because of the rain shadow of the Cascades. Another difference is that the east side is the only place where you will find farms because the west side gets too much rain. Another difference is that the west side has bigger and badder forests becasue of all the rain and the east side dosent get all that rain because of the rain shadow. You can only find dry land farms in the east side because the west side gets so much rain and dry land farms would not be able to grow because of that.
