In the book they are in multiple settings the main setting would have to be a faction called Dauntless, this is where Tris trains and learns how to have control and how to protect herself.

The main setting in the book is the faction Dauntless thats where Tris lives and learns how to fight have control and have respect for other people. They are on the streets a lot as well, they use trains to get around and go to other factions.

The plot in the book is that Jeanine is trying to find who is a Divergent because they kill the people who are because they mess with the system but they give a shot to people and who ever wakes up within a period of time or before anyone else they are divergent.The main conflict is that Euride and Dauntless are up to something and Tris and Four catch on to it

There are multiple characters in the book. The main characters are Beatrice(Tris) Prior and Tobias(Four) Eaton. There are some other characters in the book like Christina who is Tris´s best friend. Caleb Prior, Tris´s brother and her parents Natalie and Andrew Prior. One big character besides Four and Tris is Jeanine Matthews

POV, Tone,and Mood

The POV in the book always stays the same and it´s first person. I know this because she always uses words like I and Me. In the novel you occasionaly hear what she thinks for example when it was her first night and everyone else was sleeping she thought ¨I miss my family but i cant let them see me cry¨ But she doesnt really express her thoughts besides thinking to herself

The mood in the book changes, throughout the novel i always felt very nervous and i was always on my toes. There were points where i wasnt as nervous and scared but for the most part i was worried

Resolution

Tris's parents had sacraficed themselves for Tris to survive. The ending ends on a cliffhanger where Tris and her friends are on a train to the Amity faction. In the end Dauntless and Abnegation are never going back to the way they were, people from both factions are spread out aroud all of the factions and everythings a mess.

The setting in the Movie is as you would imagine so there is the pit where the Dauntless live which is where Tris lives. They buildings are tall but all the same length theres not much grass around the houses.

The plot in the movie was trying to find a divergent to open The Box. The Box is a rectangular 3D object that has a message in it from Edith Prior. They need a Divergent to open it. Jeanine had 6 people from different factions to try and open it but they couldnt open it. The conflict remains where Tris and Four find out that Euride and Dauntless are up to no good.

The POV in the movie is 3rd person objective. I know this because you never hear anyones thoughts.

The Mood in the movie was the same in the movie as the book i think it was just more deep and i felt more because i watched it and really

The Tone in the movie is for sure anticipation its much easier to tell with the movie.

The resolution of the movie ends with Tris throwing a knife through Jeanines hand. This was also left as a cliffhanger as Insurgent the second movies of the trilogy will come out.
