Hello, welcome to my presentation on United States and Norway. This presentation will have information on the landforms, population distribution pattern, climate and vegetation of these two countries. USA is a very dense country as the population there is 323.1 million people in 2016 while Norway is less dense country with 5.2 million people in 2016.

USA's population distribution is not evenly spread out as most citizens live along the edge and east part of USA. The most populated state in the US is California with 39.25 million people and the least populated state is Wyoming with only 584,000 people. In the US there are about 35.14 people per/sq. km.
Norway's distribution pattern is also unevenly spread out as there are mostly people in southern Norway because that's where the capital city is, Oslo. The population in Norway is only 5.2 million people and that's why they only have 14.33 people per/sq. km.

Norway - Only a few people live in northern Norway
Norway - Many people live in southern Norway
USA - Weather varies all across the US as in southern it stays from mild to warm throughout the year and in northern US it varies depending on the season. In summer weather could go up to 30 degrees celsius and in winter it could drop down to -20 degrees celsius.
Norway - Norway is usually a cold place as it's a country up north on the globe. Weather in Norway also varies depending on the season as in the summer it goes up to 20 degrees celsius and in the winter it could drop down to -30 degrees celsius.

Norway - Natural disasters often happen there
USA - There are many different types of soil in the United States such as: Histosols - Organic and Wet, Aridisols - Very Dry, Mollisols - Deep Fertile, Oxisols - Very Weathered. The four main types of vegetation in the US are Deserts, Grasslands, Tundras, and Forests. In the tundras of North US, trees don't grow as it’s too dry and cold there.
Norway - There are about 2000 flowering plants that grow in Norway. Forests cover a fourth of Norway’s land area and in those forests there are many different types of species such as Birch, Ash, Hazel, Elm, Maple, Linden, Oak, Yew, and Holly.
