Room 120
This room contains several different resources. The stacks area ranging from 000-599.9 is located in this room as well as several computers, study tables, a printer, and microfilm/microfiche reader. The elevator is also located in this room.
Young Instructional Technology Center
The computer lab contains 10 desktop computers with additional desk space for studying. Faculty may reserve this lab and additional laptops if needed. The room also contains a projector and 2 whiteboards.
Group Study Room III
This reservable study room contains tables, a television screen with laptop hookups, and a whiteboard. The library's microfilm and microfiche are also located in this room.
Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary Loan and Audio/Visual
Brescia faculty, staff, and students have
borrowing privileges at Kentucky Wesleyan College, Owensboro Community &
Technical College, and Daviess Country Public Library as well other FoKAL institutions. For materials not available in Owensboro, you may request an interlibrary loan through our website or by contacting Carol Ranburger.
McDowell Reading Room
The McDowell Reading Room contains library materials including computers, reference books, bestsellers, stacks 600-799.9, magazines, and newspapers. This room also features many different comfortable seating areas, computers, and scanners. The elevator is also located in this room.
Ursuline Reading Room
Ursuline Reading Room
Everyone is welcome to relax on the comfortable couches and watch national news in this room. A long table can also serve as a good meeting space for small groups. Additionally, find books relevant for the Ursuline Center for Teaching and Learning (UCTL) and on St. Angela Merici and the Ursulines here.
Glassed-In room
A newer addition to the library includes a glassed-in room. This room includes 6 tables for individuals or groups to use as well as a whiteboard.
Circulation
Circulation
Visit the circulation desk for any library assistance you may need or to check out items from the library. More computers are located next to the desk as well as a copy machine, and the main floor's printer.
Stacks
Stacks ranging from 800-999.9 are located on the mezzanine floor in Room 305. Several study carrels sit next to the shelves. The elevator is also located in this area.
Media Room
Formerly known as the Fine Arts Room, the Media Room now contains all DVDs and CDs along with a movable TV, blu-ray player, and sound bar. The room also contains comfortable couches and bean bags, so you can watch movies together with your friends! You can also find computers, a printer, and study tables here.
Group Study Rooms
Group Study Room I: This room contains tables and seating for 9 people with a whiteboard and projector.
Group Study Room II: This room contains seating for 7 people with a whiteboard and a television that includes laptop hookups. The room is also equipped with technology for Skype usage.
Both rooms are reservable.
Kentucky Room
Kentucky Room
All books with a Kentucky Room call number are in this room. Also, you will find a comfortable seating area as well as conference tables and a whiteboard with a projector.
Quiet Study Zone
The area of this floor of the library overlooks the McDowell Reading Room and includes a glass barrier that ensures that the area remains sound-proof. Comfortable individual booths line the area for anyone to study.
