Carbohydrates:
Carbohydrates
- Carbohydrates are also known as carbs.
- The monomer for carbs is monosaccharides.
- Elements contained- Carbon, Oxygen, and Hydrogen.
- The functions are it provides fast energy, its also our main source of energy, and it provides a strucual purpose in our bodies.
Ex; Sugar, starchs, and glucose or any products that end in "ose."

Lipids(fats):
Lipids
- Lipids are also known as fats
- There's two groups known as fatty acids and glycerol
- The elements that are in it are: Carbon, Hydrogen, and Oxygen.
- The functions of this are it provided
stored/longterm energy, it's used as a "waterproofer", and is used for insulation.
Ex; Fats, oils, and waves

Proteins:
Protiens
- Amino acids are what makes up this biomolecule
- The elements in this are: Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, and Nitrogen.
- The functions of this are it forms muscle, skin, bones, etc, also regulates cellular procceses, transports in/out of cells, and helps the body fight diseases
Ex; Meat, beans, enzymes, and much more
Nucleic Acids:
Nucleic Acids
- Nucleic Acids are also known as DNA or RNA
- It contains nucletides
- The elements it includes are: Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Phosphorus.
- The functions of this are it stores and transmits genetic info, it is also essential for making proteins
Ex; Dna and Rna are the only examples
