Background
ABOUT
- At the end of 2015 the Government of Jamaica signed a contract for implementing a Human Capital Management Enterprise System (HCMES) Software across all Jamaica Public Sector, a project led by the Ministry of Finance and The Public Service.
- In March 2017, HCMES was renamed MyHR+
BENEFITS
- Standardized human-resource and payroll platform
- Enables greater efficiency and accuracy in HR and Payroll functions
- Enables HR to become more strategic in how staff deployment and development are carried out.
- Automate a number of processes now done manually by HR and payroll staff, e.g.: leave application, job letter request, gives employees 24hr access to some of their HR needs, like payslips. As such, productivity levels will increase.
