It may impact one's career choice by having time for one or another.

Beginning

In this topic couples may end up looking into moving in the same household.

Couples may disagree on how the money is managed, etc.

They may end up thinking about having children.

Parenting/Expanding

Parenting/Expanding stage

You may have to take maternity leave or take time off to take care of your child.

As a parent you have a lot more responsibilities like taking your children to school, etc.

When expanding a family it will cost more than it did before.

It's very rewarding and alot of joy but can be stressful at times.

Developing Stage

Raising children/teens, you may have to take time for them and help them with their lives. Cutting back hours to take them to an event, etc.

When raising children or teens, you may have to take them to school or sport events.

More money will be involved on clothing, shoes, and any other accesories.

They may have questions about how life works and you are there to be there for them.

Leaving Home

Your life will seem very different without the children in the house.

You will be able to work long hours again or pick up and extra job.

When they go off to college or such you have to help them leave.

Teaching them about adult life.

New members in the family as of your children's relationships.

Mid-Years, couples

You may get more tired and problems as you get older so you might have to reduce hours in the workspace.

Your family feels shorten in the house because it's just you and your partner.

Income pressures often decrease during this stage

Leaving you sad or such cause the children are out the house.

Retirement

Your career life comes to an end and you live off of retirement.

Aging/retirement stage

Retirement sounds like the good life, it can bring many challenges.

Grandchildren come along.

Retired people may have to take care of someone else in need like a spouse.
