Tim Hortons is one of North America's largest restaurant chains operating in the quick service segment. Started out as a single location in Canada in 1964, pertains to a wide variety of customer tastes with a menu that features premium coffee, hot and cold specialty drinks (like lattes, cappuccinos, and espresso shots), specialty teas, fruit smoothies, fresh baked goods, grilled Panini and classic sandwiches, wraps, soups, prepared foods, and other food items.
As the second-largest global network of hamburger fast food restaurants, Burger King was founded in 1954. In more than 100 countries and U.S. territories, the Burger King system, which launched the first HOME OF THE WHOPPER®, now operates more than 18,700 locations. Nearly all BURGER KING® restaurants are owned and operated by independent franchisees, the majority of which are long-standing family businesses.
The rich culinary history of Popeyes, which was founded in New Orleans in 1972, spans more than 45 years. One stands out if they have a special New Orleans-style menu with fried chicken, chicken tenders, fried shrimp, and other regional dishes. Popeyes' devotion to Louisianan heritage and mouthwatering unique cuisine have helped it grow into one of the biggest chicken fast service restaurants in the globe.
Firehouse Subs, a fast food company, is committed to offering wholesome, flavorful food, genuine service, and public safety. Years of fire and police service, substantial subs packed full of the finest meats and cheeses, and Firehouse Subs' dedication to saving lives through the founding of the non-profit Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation® have all contributed to the brand's success. Two brothers who had also worked as firefighters launched Firehouse Subs in 1994 in Jacksonville, Florida.
USA: By February 22, 2023, there will be 627 Tim Hortons restaurants operating across the country. With 239 outlets, or nearly 38% of all Tim Hortons sites in the US, New York is the state with the most Tim Hortons locations.
Canada: As of February 27, 2023, there are 3,564 Tim Hortons locations. With 1,801 locations, or almost 51% of all Tim Hortons stores in Canada, Ontario is the province with the most locations.
International: Currently, there are more than 5,100 Tim Hortons locations spread over 13 nations, including those in the United States, Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, China, Thailand, and the Philippines.
USA: As of February 20, 2023, there are 7,257 Burger King locations in the US. Texas has 580 Burger King restaurants, or nearly 8% of all Burger King restaurants in the US, making it the state with the most outlets.
Canada: As of February 21, 2023, Canada has 350 Burger King locations. 159 Burger King locations, or nearly 45% of all Burger King locations in Canada, are located in the province of Ontario, making it the province with the most Burger King outlets.
International: The Burger King system, which opened the first home of the whopper now has more than 18,700 outlets across more than 100 nations and U.S. territories.
USA: As of February 20, 2023, there are 2,928 Popeyes locations across the country. Texas has 404 Popeyes restaurants, or about 14% of all Popeyes restaurants in the US, ranking it the state with the most of them.
Canada : As of February 16, 2023, there are 315 Popeyes locations in Canada. With 238 outlets, and almost 76% of all Popeyes sites in Canada, Ontario is the province with the most Popeyes locations.
International: By 2021, Popeyes will have 3,705 stores spread across more than 46 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and 30 different countries. The corporation has about 50 locations; the great majority are franchised.
USA: As of February 8th, 2023, there are 1,193 Firehouse Subs locations throughout the country. With 177 outlets, or nearly 15% of all Firehouse Subs sites in the US, Florida is the state with the most Firehouse Subs locations.
Canada: In 2015, Firehouse Subs opened its first locations in Canada, with its first location opening in Oshawa, Ontario, in October with franchisee OnFire Restaurant Group. The company already runs 50 restaurants in Canada, and it has ambitions to build 90 more, all in Ontario. Also, the chain introduced a loyalty program.

Burger King charges a flat franchise fee of $50,000 USD for a franchise agreement with a term of 20 years. Prospective franchisees also pay an initial New Entity / Application Fee of $5,000 USD to help with the costs of processing the application. There is also a $280 USD background check fee, as well as varying application costs for Managing Owner / Managing Director, and other application / administrative requirements. In the last 11 years, Mr. Kobza has held increasingly senior positions with the company, including Chief Financial Officer (2013–2018), Chief Technology Officer and Development Officer (2018–2019), and Chief Operating Officer (2019–2023), with responsibility for strategy, technology, human resources, global procurement, supply chain, and international development. Tim Hortons in 2014, Popeyes in 2017 and Firehouse Subs in 2021 were all acquired in large part because to Mr. Kobza's efforts.
In his new position, Mr. Kobza will work closely with Patrick Doyle, the Executive Chairman of RBI and a well-known industry veteran, and will report to him. José Cil will serve as an advisor and aid in the transition for the duration of the following year at the business.

With plans to open 600 restaurants across these nations over the next ten years, McWin plans to introduce the renowned fried chicken restaurant brand Popeyes to the Czech Republic and Poland through its recently established Rex Concepts CEE platform and to expand the flame-grilled Burger King brand in the Czech Republic, Poland, and Romania. In contrast to present leadership, the RBI Board of Directors believes Patrick Doyle's hiring will generate extraordinary development potential.
As CEO of Domino's Pizza from 2010 to 2018, Mr. Doyle doubled system-wide sales, delivered same-store sales growth for 29 consecutive quarters, generated approximately $11 billion in shareholder value, and more than doubled the profitability of home market franchisees. He is one of the world's most successful global QSR leaders.
