- B average in area of study is required

- One-on-one supervision of faculty advisor

- Network with professors who could supervise a project (office hours, volunteering, work-study, etc.)

- Apply in fall term of third year

- Second teachable subject required

- Minimum B+ annual GPA required by the end of second year
