Due to Germany losing in WW1 it led to the treaty of Versailles which caused Germany to lose some of its land to Poland which led Germany to invade Poland to regain it's lost land and ultimatly leading to France and Britain declaring war on Germany.

Both sides had severe casualties after the Battle of Britain and after the war had ended keeping British territories in places like India became more expensive which led to India's independence on August 14, 1947 because Britain could not afford to keep it's territories.
The Americans were able to set up a base of operation in England which allowed them to start secret operation from the England's teritory and this was all possible because Britain had showed the world that it had a superiour airforce then Germany and they were able secured Britain's land from the Nazis.

India was able to achieve all this because the WW2 had left destruction and loss of wealth for Britain and the Battle of Britain contributed heavely to that because a lot of of Britsh cities were destroyed in the battle costing millions of dollars to the government and leading to the independense of India.
Battle of Britian ended with the defeat of Germany and which helped Americans setup a base on England's shores from where the Operation OverLord was launched which brought an end to the Nazi Reich.
