You Can Do Anything, Good
Proverbs 22:1
Opener
A good name is more desirable than great riches;
to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.
- Each person should write their name at the top of the piece of paper.
- Then pass it to the person on their left. Each person then writes one or two (or more) positive characteristics about the person whose name is at the top of the paper.
- After 30-60 seconds, everyone passes the pieces of paper around to their left again. This continues until everyone has written on everyone else's paper.

2 Corinthians 11:23-28
23 Are they servants of Christ? (I am out of my mind to talk like this.) I am more. I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again. 24 Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was pelted with stones, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea, 26 I have been constantly on the move. I have been in danger from rivers, in danger from bandits, in danger from my fellow Jews, in danger from Gentiles; in danger in the city, in danger in the country, in danger at sea; and in danger from false believers. 27 I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked. 28 Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the churches.

- Positive thinking is only as valuable on the foundation it is built on.
- If our life is built on Christ then that foundation is unshakable
- That means that even when storms come in our lives our foundation is secure because we have what transcends circumstance.
- Take a moment and consider whether or not your hope is based on circumstances or something greater...

Remember This
Duces
People love Jessica’s video because it’s the life they want to live.
We want to rejoice always and give thanks in all circumstances, but it’s hard to do.
It’s far too easy to only see what is in front of us, and often that creates challenges in being thankful.
As we allow God to change our perspective and help us see that He is good, He is present, and He never changes, we will start to see the hope He has for us.
We realize that we are part of something greater because when Jesus is our foundation, we can always have a perspective that finds hope in any circumstances.
Memory Verse for This Month!
Mark 11:22-24
Mark 11:22-24
22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly[f] I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
