History

History

BSO is the support office for BSA (Bank Supervision Application), a web based bank supervision system, responsible for monitoring the financial performance and operations of banks in order to ensure that they are operating safely and soundly and following rules and regulations.

BSA Project was initiated in 1997 driven by the SADC Central Banks Information Technology Forum (IT Forum), Kenya and Uganda, with the aim of harmonizing the Banking Supervision functions within the Central Banks

BSO is the support office for the BSA, a web based bank supervision system, responsible for monitoring the financial performance and operations of banks in order to ensure that they are operating safely and soundly and following rules and regulations.
