1) Wellness Programs Improve Employee Health Behaviors

The core of every good wellness program is behavior change. With the right education, skills, motivation, skills/tools, and social support, people change behaviors. Wellness programs are good at helping people adopt and maintain healthy behaviors. This is perhaps the biggest benefit of having or reasons to have a wellness program.

Healthy behaviors lead to lower health risks, and lower health risks lead to less chronic disease. With less chronic disease employees have fewer health care costs.

If you’re looking for something fun for the team or want to energies the participants at a conference this is a great option.

Yoga, mindfulness and meditation break-out session(s) with the choice of remaining in work clothes and with or without yoga mats.

This is an excellent one-off session or can be a great option to add to a wellness program or simply to gauge employee interest before rolling out regular yoga sessions.
