Practically means, we should reserve our savings out of our earnings and only from the balance that is left, plan our expenses.
I picked this saying because It catched my attention and I think it is wisely to save than overspending what we have to make our future secure...the earlier we save the brighter future to come! also, investing what we save is also a habit that will ensure a bright future....
There are time that everyone buys things because they want them without thinking that we dont even need it....
It is indeed true what is the quote... based on my experienced I really have to think twice before buying something like having a new phone even if the one that I have is still working.. I do believe spend wisely than sorry.
The good example of this saying is when we use credit card when purchasing something.. Credit card or cash advance will dig us into more financial trouble specially when we realized that this is out of our budget...
Spending money that we don't have is never a good idea. If we can't pay cash, save up for it until we have enough on hand!
Take challenging courses and choose wisely.
Many college prefer to take just the basic math and science classes, instead of 4 year course which is Bachelor's degree... we have to plan our career from the start to take us into a right path and will save more money. We have to think that our chosen career is what makes us happy and contented in the future in order to achieve and reach our financial goal.

Keep our grades up
Making the most of our classes will lead to good grades, which will help us get into college and land into scholarship. The fewer classes to take.. the less money may need to spend.
Basically, in order to achieve my financial goal.. I have to do my very best in order to get a high grades so by the time I go to colleg I can pick whatever 4 Bachelor program I wanted and I can grant for scholarship to save my tuition fees.

Familiarize with Financial Aid and Student
Loans
Start learning how the financial aid process works and aboiut federal and private student
loans.
If we are considering financial aid or loans in order to get into college or university, we have to search any federal loans that are available in our province generally a better option because they usually have a lower interest rate than private loans and can offer more benefits and more options how to pay.
