  • All of the children escaped before alarm goes off.

  • Suspicion to be dealing with drugs
  • Theory: His family got their money from crimes.
  • His family was in great despair of money, so maybe they had to to do desperate, bad things to get money.

  • The boss of a police station in the small town in Australia.

  • His father was a cop.

Why is he a suspect?

  • Suspected to have known the person who died in the fire.
  • Maybe he killed him.
  • Maybe he knew something about why and who killed him.
  • Suspected to be fowling Michael around.
  • Maybe he wanted to make sure that Michael did not find anything.
  • He seemed interested to know if Isabella new anything when Michael told him she knew nothing he was relived.
  • The way he looked (chewed up nails) and the way he acted ( his nervousness movements) seemed like he was hiding something big.
  • He sent his "second-in-command" (Allison Hartley) to check on Michael as he investigates the Shlot home.
  • Maybe to make sure if he finds something.
  • He used to go to school with Alexander Sholt. He calls him "Alex." Maybe the were friends, so that means they could be working together.

Part Two

  • A suspicion that he might not treat all people equally under the law. Maybe, he was giving the Sholt family a police alibi.
  • He was always watching his surrounding checking if someone was spying at him, and he looked like he knew someone was "suppose" to be spying on him.
  • During the crime scene of the stabbing he was acting very nervous.

  • Grandpa Teller is Michel's father and Beth's grandpa.

Why?

  • They are suspects because they hate aboriginals.
  • They kicked out their own son because he married an aboriginal women.
  • Beth states that Grandpa Teller is a bad guy and bad cop.
  • Michel thinks that cops in the town have too much power and may have something to do with this crime (his father is a cop).
  • He never accepted Beth as a grandchild because of her mother.
  • Grandma Teller thought the same as Grandpa Teller so she was his accomplice.

Who is Sam Flinch?

Who?

  • A guy from the town that was protesting against the build of the aboriginal children's home.

Why is he a suspect?

  • He didn't want the home to be done.
  • He did a sign up sheet for people who also did not want the home there.
  • That means he was against aboriginals.
  • He was trying his best to cancel it.
  • Maybe he caused the fire so the house could get burned, he maybe killed the body.

What happened to

Sarah Blue?

  • Sarah disappeared out of the blue 20 years ago.
  • She disappeared one week before her fifteenth birthday. This indicates she was fourteen before she disappeared.
  • When she was coming back home from school, she came off the bus, but never arrived home.

  • He was in charge of Sarah's case.
  • He said she probably ran off.
  • Allison and Sarah's parents don't agree.
  • Sarah's would no have left without saying goodbye to her parents.
  • Theory: He is knows the truth, so he is trying to put other ideas instead of it, therefore they think Allison will stop searching for Sarah.

Derek Bell

  • Every time Allison brings the situation up, he tells her that "there's no point in searching".
  • Theory: He is covering up something and he dose not want her to find out what it is.
