Special requirements for ECE students
Before departure
- Buy travel insurance.
- Online check-in 48 hours before departure.
- Check the weather at http://www.bbc.com/weather/2652221 or any other websites.
- Bring enough clothes.

Before departure
On the day of departure
- The plane departs at 2315.
- Arrive at the departure hall (Terminal 1) at least 2 hours before departure.
- Drop your check-in luggage at the check-in counter at B/C area.
- Get the boarding pass.
- Check the boarding gate number and arrival time.

- DON’T CHECK-IN your invitation letter and important documents.
- Should not exceed 23 Kg.
- Should not contain lithium batteries
- Put the lithium batteries in your hand luggage

- Should not contain liquid, and sharp objects.
- Take care of your own belongings especially your identification documents, money and valuables.

- Please let your group leader know your seat number.
- Be punctual

Get the invitation letter, and passport ready.

- Check your passport, and visa if needed).
- Ask you why you are coming to the UK.
- Check documents e.g. the invitation letter
At Heathrow
- Collect your luggage at the baggage claim
- Wait for everyone there
- A coach will take you to the campus
- The journey usually lasts for about 2 hours.
- You may get a folder containing documents e.g. homestay address, campus map, bus time-table, etc.
At Warwick
- Host families will be waiting to take you to the homestay
- Spend Monday (a bank holiday) with your host families.
- Get to know each member of the family (may include another overseas student)

On Tuesday
- Take a bus to the Campus and meet outside the designated place at least 15 minutes before the orientation and registration.

You will be having seminars, workshops and cultural visits.
Classes will take place every morning but for some of the afternoons, you can work on your own.
On Saturdays and Sundays, you can travel with your friends if cultural visits have not been arranged.

Short cultural visits e.g. Warwick Castle will take place on weekday afternoons.
Full day cultural visits e.g. London will take place on Saturdays.

- Lunch will not be prepared for you. You need to do so yourself.

- 10 photos/ video (at least on video). Must be in original file size. NOOOOOOO whatsapp sized files will be accepted.
- These photos/ videos must be able to capture VARIOUS aspects of the trip
- Natural, interactive and energetic (avoid “V” gesture)
