The introduction paragraph will discuss why I chose to write about my topic:

- How does it benefit me?

- Why the FBI and why the BAU?

It will also include what I know about the topic and what needs to be researched further (the sources will answer that)

The first paragraph will start with the history of the FBI:

- When was the FBI founded? By whom?

- Why was it founded? (what is their mission)

- What is their structure & organization?

- This question will help shift the focus to one singular division, which is the BAU

- What type of cases do they work with?

- What are they hoping to achieve with the BAU – why is it that they can’t use another branch to carry out the services that the BAU does?)

The conclusion paragraph will include a summary of my introduction and all my other paragraphs. The end should include something like:

"thus, why the BAU is needed to proctect our country"

The question: How does the BAU serve our country will be answered throughout the essay (indirectly).
