Tow Tag is a start-up company and market opener of combating towing. Tow Tags go on the outside of vehicles or on the tags. They can be purchased online or at the department of motor vehicle when purchasing Tags with the state.

MISSION: To finally give people the ultimate alternative to getting your vehicle towed.

  • Towing is a lucrative business that many people dont pay close attention to but is increasing in sales and production
  • There are no comapnaies in th market to compete

How we sell

  • Tow Tag will earn most of its revenue through membership purchase at local departtments of motor vehicles when people are purchasing/renewing their tags.
  • Similar to actual state tags, customers will have to renew their Tow Tags’. Customers will be able to purchase Tags for $100-$200 that last only 1 or 2 years and must be renewed after expiration.
  • Tow Tag will particpate in using ads, commericials, posters in department of motor vehicle buildings and local billboards for promotion.

How We Sell

Target Markets

  • The Target market for Tow Tag is anyone who owns a vehicle and wants to have a method to avoid towing.
  • Tow Tag will start in the metropolitan area of DC, Maryland and Virgina.
  • Across DC, Maryland and Virginia there are about 4.1 million registered vehicles. Starting as a local company these vehicle owners will be the target market for launching the company.
  • As Tow Tag continues to grow and expand the goal is to serve communities nation wide, finding us at every local department of motor vehicles across the country.

Who We Sell too

  • Tow Tag plans to partner with the state of Maryland and Virginia and the city DC to sell our products at the department of motor vehicles.
  • Montellio will also be our partner of choice to help develop our app. Founded in 2012, Montellio is a software engineering company that focuses on start-ups, small businesses and entrepreneurs who have ideas waiting for digital partnership.
  • The average cost of developing a business app can range from 50,000-200,000. With the demands of Tow Tag ( Tracking, alerts, location and geographics) Tow TAg app development will most likely cost 90,000-120,000.
