Introduction

The sui dynasty started at 581-618BCE when a man named Yang Jian took control of the Northern Dynasty. He established the Sui Dynasty and became known as Emperor Wen. After gaining control of northern China, Emperor Wen gathered a massive army and invaded the south. This dynasty lasted for a short time. The Sui Dynasty is most famous for unifying China under one rule after the Period of Disunion. The first emperor of the Sui dynasty was Yang Jian also known as Emperor Wen

Introduction

The Sui dynasty also had a stable economy. The main achievements of the Sui dynasty was reunified China under the rule of a single dynasty after around 300 years. They also invented poetry,this dynasty was very known by its peotry. At last but not least they built around the capital city to give people an easier and cheaper way to get food.

Inventions

The dynasty invented The Great Canel,The wheelBarrow,The Seismograph,The Blast Furnace,The Adjustable Wrench and The boldboard Plow. Among all the inventions, the Great Canel was the most important. They built the Great canel because Emperor Yang of the Sui wanted a quicker and more efficient way of transporting grain to his capital city at Beijing. He also needed to supply his army that guarded northern China from the Mongols, Building the canal was a huge project.

-Emperor Wen had approximately 60 relative killed, he even expanded his army until he had the menpower

-Emperor Wen sent about half a million troops across the Yangtze River in 588BCE, and he conquered the Chen Empire in 589BCE.

-Emperor Wen did two major consturction projects which included building the great canel and rebuilding The Great Wall Of China

- Emperor Wen sent a lot of soldiers to go to fight wars but they lost a lot of soldiers when they contracted the tropical diseases and the soldiers died.

Conclusion

The Sui dynasty fell in 614 BCE, because of many losses caused by the failed military campaigns against Goguryeo. It was after these defeats and losses that the country was left in ruins and rebels soon took control of the government. Emperor Yang was assassinated in 618BCE. This dynasty only lasted for 38 years
