As Head of Business Development, Gordon supports all of our offices and is responsible for working closely with our advice team and the ongoing development of how we engage with our professional connections.
He embraces coaching and is currently in the middle of sitting the CIPD accreditation a professional HR qualification focusing on enhancing peoples working environment.
Gordon used to fly chipmunk planes in the Air Cadets so suggestions have been made that he could fly people to and from the Northern Ireland office.
Paul has been advising both private and business clients for over 10 years.
Paul joined Furnley House in 2015 as an IFA and now heads up our Northern Ireland Office, which he proudly opened in his home town of Magherafelt at the beginning of 2016.
Paul is dedicated to giving highly individual advice that is entirely focused on his clients’ specific circumstances and needs.
If Paul could go on holiday anywhere in the world he would go to Hawaii.
After over 20 years as a financial adviser at a High Street Bank, Steve joined the Furnley House team in 2016.
Working alongside George Simpson, Steve provides advice for clients in the West Midlands. Steve is relishing the prospect of now being able to provide proper independent advice to his clients - and is delighted that he is in a position to offer a valuable ongoing advice service to help clients achieve their financial plans.
Steve can play the trumpet as well as any other brass instrument. He is also a keen supporter of Coventry City FC.
Working in Financial services since 2008, Kevin joined Furnley House in 2013.
Initially working as a Mortgage and Protection adviser, Kevin now specialises in advising business clients in the area of employee benefits.
Whilst he is still involved with both Residential and Commercial Mortgages, Kevin has become more involved with workplace pensions and is accredited by Pensions Management Institute in the area of pension auto-enrolment.
Kev is an avid Leicester City supporter and his claim to fame is that he used to play football with Chris Kirkland.
Paul started his Banking career in 2004, becoming a financial adviser in 2008 dealing with both personal and business clients.
Whilst he is based in Northamptonshire, Paul has clients across the country.
Paul joined Furnley House in 2016 and has embraced the opportunity of offering impartial whole of market advice to his clients.
To avoid confusion between the Paul’s at Furnley House, this Paul is known as Faz. His specialist 'Mastermind' subject would be The Roman Republic.
Neil has been a Financial Adviser since 1994 providing advice for both private and business clients.
Together with Stefan Fura and John Woolhouse, Neil helped create Furnley House in 2012. Neil believes that the key to successful advice is to establish a trusting relationship with clients over the long term.
In addition to investment and pension planning, Neil specialises in advising the elderly and vulnerable and is an accredited member of SOLLA (Society Of Later Life Advisers).
Neil is part of the 1970 British Cohort Study, documenting the lives of those born in a single week in 1970.
George has been a Financial Adviser since the late 1980’s after leaving the military.
Joining Furnley House in 2014, George is based at our office in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, which opened in the Spring of 2016.
George has many long-standing and loyal clients but also enjoys the opportunity of helping new clients, predominantly with pension, investment and tax-planning.
George enjoys physical challenges and in 2017 he cycled 1,000 miles in 10 days to raise money for charity.
Starting his career in Financial Services in the 1980's, Robert became an IFA in 2002 so he could provide his clients with a wider range of products and services.
Rob considers himself to be a general practitioner, offering advice in all areas of financial planning.
With almost 30 years' experience, Rob has built up a large number of long-standing and loyal clients.
Rob is a big 'Soul and Funk' music fan.
John became a financial adviser in 2000 and for over 10 years enjoyed significant success in two High Street Banks.
John came to realise that offering independent advice offered his clients greater choices and options, which should result in a better outcome.
Together with Stefan Fura and Neil Haley, John helped create Furnley House in 2012.
If John became marooned on a desert island, his luxury item would be a guitar, as he would finally have the time to learn how to play it.
Aarti joined Furnley House in early 2018 as a CRM and is now a Mortgage and Protection Adviser. She has over 20 years of customer service experience.
Don’t mess with Aarti, as she has a black belt in martial arts. Paradoxically, her favourite film is The Lion King.
After graduating from University with a First Class Honours Degree, Matt joined Furnley House in 2016.
In 2018 Matt completed his Mortgage exams and is now a Mortgage and Protection Adviser
Matt once helped build a rally car for Wishes for Kids. His dream holiday destination is Bora Bora.
Compliance, Finance, HR, Marketing
Paul has worked in the Financial Services Industry for over 20 years in various roles for established brands like HSBC, Lloyds and Wesleyan.
He has valuable experience as an IFA and a business mentor so fully understands the entire financial advice process. For the last few years, Paul has been working in Compliance roles and his understanding of the advice process is a huge benefit for the companies he’s worked for.
Paul joined Furnley House in 2018 and his wealth of knowledge and experience will be invaluable to the growing, ambitious company.
Kieran is responsible for organising and managing the company accounts.
He graduated from University in 2016 with a first class degree in Management Studies and Economics.
Kieran would love to travel to Japan to explore the country. His favourite film is Fight Club.
Reena joined Furnley House in 2018 having previously worked for The Police Mutual.
She has completed a tandem parachute jump in aid of charity. She has also planned a charity talent show with 15 acts and an audience of 300 people.
Alex joined Furnley House in 2018, having previously worked for Sanlam. He has over 20 years' experience in financial services.
Alex is based at home in Bristol, but regularly travels up to the offices.
Alex is a Trustee and Director for the Empire Fighting Chance charity.
Furnley House are members of Peninsula. They provide advice and guidance on any employment law and HR issues.

The Service Delivery Team provide vital support to our Advisers, enabling them to focus on advising their clients. They also act as a point of contact for clients when the advisers are unavailable.

An experienced Paraplanner, Emma uses her knowledge and skills to help with bespoke and complex cases.
Emma is Diploma qualified with an advanced qualification in Pensions.
Emma offers invaluable training and support in developing other administration staff in the business.
If Emma was on Mastermind, her specialist subject would be Musical Theatre 1985-2000, having taken part in many productions.
David joined Furnley House after graduating from University in 2015 with a First Class Honours Degree.
David specialises in investments and sits on the Investment Committee. He is based at the Leamington Spa Office.
Dave’s favourite band is Guns N’Roses and he is a season ticket holder at Aston Villa.
Helen has many years experience in Financial Services and has covered a range of roles since joining Furnley House. She has now become the Platform Specialist in the business providing invaluable to support to the Advisers and Client Relationship Managers.
Helen's dream holiday destination is The Maldives and her dream dinner guest would have been JF Kennedy.
With nearly 10 years experience working in the financial services industry, Zac provides assistance to the advisers in our Leicester Office as well as being another point of contact for clients.
Zac’s favourite sports team is the Nottingham Panthers, who play ice hockey.
After graduating from University with a First Class Honours Degree, Matt joined Furnley House in 2016. Matt provides the Leicester Office with administrative support, specialising in Mortgages.
In 2018 Matt completed his Mortgage exams and is now hoping to qualify as a Mortgage Adviser in his own right.

Sam joined Furnley House in 2016 as a Receptionist answering incoming telephone calls and greeting guests visiting the Leicester Office.
Sam also provides administrative support to the Leicester Office.
If Sam could go on holiday anywhere in the world she would go to the Maldives. Her favourite album is UB40 (by UB40!)
Megan joined Furnley House as an apprentice in 2017. She provides administrative support as well as working as a receptionist in our Leicester Office.
If Megan could have anyone over for a dinner party she would invite the Kardashians. Her dream holiday destination is California.
With considerable experience in management and support functions, Marie is responsible for the oversight and supervision of the team.
This includes ensuring the efficient use of IT systems and processes, HR, Health & Safety, Business Development, Accounts and Bookkeeping.
If Marie were to get stuck on a desert island, she would want to have Teddy Eddy with her as she got him the day she was born. Marie is Reiki 1 qualified.
Together with Neil Haley and John Woolhouse, Stefan is a founding partner of Furnley House.
He started his career in financial services working in a High Street Bank, but as his knowledge and experience grew, Stefan realised that he could offer his clients a better service if he were not tied to a limited number of specific providers.
Stefan takes an active part in developing the future of the Financial Services industry, with the trade press often seeking his opinion. Stefan is the Managing Director at Furnley House as well as a qualified IFA.
One of Stef’s other achievements is that he used to be Area sports champion in High Jump. Stef's favourite album is Definitely Maybe by Oasis.
In the past ten years Chris has helped create a stream of SME business success stories across manufacturing, retail, financial services, event management, brand strategy and communications. Outcomes have included two acquisitions, three sales, several new management teams and the creation of a US division.
Whether as chair, non-exec director or consultant Chris knows how to give decision makers a shared view of the possibilities ahead and the belief to make them real.
Chris is a keen supporter of Aston Villa Football Club and has ridden the highest road in the world on his motorbike.
As an independent finance and business consultant, Damien work closely with owners and managers on their business strategy and growth plans.
His background includes a number of Board roles covering Finance, Operations, HR, IT, Legal Affairs and Property within a wide variety of industries, channels and brands from Automotive, Retail, Telehealth, Publishing, Telecoms and Fine Art.
High growth, entrepreneurial environments have become a specialism where Damien’s attention to detail and strong commercial outlook allow management teams to concentrate on the core competencies of the business.
Anthony is the Furnley House HR Consultant. He runs a successful HR Business called Cream HR.
Anthony has played a fundamental role in developing Furnley House Pride.
He is ambidextrous and is a huge fan of Warrington Wolves Rugby League club.

Jennifer joined Furnley House in 2018. Her primary role is to support the MD and the other Directors of the business.
Jennifer has a wealth of experience as an Executive Assistant and her most recent role covered a number of HR tasks so she's going to be a great help to the team.
One of the reasons Jennifer joined us is because of her passion for the community and our commitment to charity was a great driving factor for her.
