Sound
Light
Light travels in a vacuum at 300,000 km per second (186,000 miles per second). Space does not have any light. We can see things in space due to light bouncing off of the objects in space. Infrared light has a wavelength that is too long for the human eye as well.
Sound travels with a speed of 767 miles per hour but it cannot travel through a vaccum. The scientific study of sound waves is known as acoustic. These waves are also known as pressure waves because they push the particles they are passing through. Dogs can hear at a higher frequency as compared to humans.
Examples of Light
Examples of Sound
There are many example we see in our routine life carrying light energy like lightened candle, flash light, fire, Electric bulb, kerosene lamp, stars and other luminous bodies etc. Each act as a source of light. Even a burning candle is an example for light energy.
Examples of (1) Challenging the Octave
The spectrum of the sound is constructed so that the octave between f and 2f is dissonant while the nonoctave f to 2.1f is consonant.
(2) A simple tune
Harmonic timbres in the 12-tet scale set the stage for the next three examples. Chord pattern from Plastic City, audio track ?
(3) The ``same" tune
Harmonic timbres in the 2.1-stretched scale appear uniformly dissonant.
(4) The ``same" tune
2.1-stretched timbres are matched to the 2.1-stretched scale.
(5) The ``same" tune
2.1-stretched timbres in 12-tet sound qualitatively like harmonic timbres in the 2.1-stretched scale in track (3).

Light properties
Sound properties
The basic properties of sound are: pitch, loudness and tone. Figure 10.2: Pitch and loudness of sound. Sound B has a lower pitch (lower frequency) than Sound A and is softer (smaller amplitude) than Sound C. The frequency of a sound wave is what your ear understands as pitch.

Importance of Light
Importance of Sound
By doing so, they recognised the importance of raising awareness of light, as well as its fundamental role in the development of human society. Light plays a central role in health, communication, energy, education, agriculture, design and much more.
Sound is important because it can tell us about character, place, and time. It's important because it informs us and moves us in ways visuals can't, and because certain combinations of sound and visuals can evoke what neither can do alone. It's also potentially important because it can help to determine what we see.
