Noun

A noun is a word to describe any person, place, or thing.

Example

Proper noun:

Indonesia, Soekarno, July, the White House

Common noun:

book, house, flower, table, car

bag, computer, pencil, spoon

Concrete noun:

Abstract noun:

love, belief, hatred, trust

PRONOUN

Pronoun

Pronouns are used as a substitute for nouns such as person, place, or thing.

Personal pronoun - substituting a specific person: he, she, I, they, we, his, her, my, mine, your, yours, theirs

Demonstrative pronoun - pointing to a noun: this, these, that, those

Indefinite pronoun - referring to unspecified thing: any, all, everything, each, anyone

Relative pronoun - linking one phrase to another: who, whoever, that, which

Reflexive pronoun - referring back to the subject: yourself, myself, ourselves, itself

An adjective is used to described a noun and a pronoun.

Adverb

Adverb is a word or phrase that expresses a relation to place, time, or circumstance.

Adverb of Manner - expressing how something happens: quickly, seriously, fast, amazingly, terribly, well

Adverb of Degree - expressing "how much" or "to what extend": very, extremely, somewhat, more

Adverb of Frequency - expressing "how often" something takes place: never, seldom, sometimes, often, frequently, usually, always

Adverb of Place - describing "where" an action takes place: outside, everywhere, in the library, at home, in Indonesia

Adverb of Time - telling us "when" an action happens: tomorrow, yesterday, all day, in the morning

An interjection refers to words that express emotion. Interjections are used to express strong emotion. Therefore, they are usually followed by an exclamation mark.
