Now that you will soon be part of our Virtual Assistant Team, here are some of the things that you should check and prepare right before your client interviews & official first day of work.
Since the interview will not be conducted in person, you will be given a little bit of leeway - meaning, you are not expected to don a full-on business attire expected with corporate interviews. However, you are still expected to be presentable in decent clothing. In the event that the situation calls for you to wear business or business casual, you will be notified beforehand.
As for your background, if you are on audio, make sure that you are in a quiet place where the sound of vehicles or animals aren’t all that audible. If the interview will be done through a video chat, be sure that the background is organised without clutter.
To help you prepare for your interview, we’ve collected some possible questions you might be asked. Answer this questions as truthfully and confidently as possible.

If you’re new to Outsourcing Angel, you will find that you will be offered a part-time or full-time contract.

Think of this as a "Thank You" email to your client letting them know that you look forward to working with them. Also, take this as a chance to ask more relevant information about the company, the position and processes that you need to prepare for in advance. As a VA, you are expected to, at least, have the basic skills of a virtual assistant. This include skills such as typing, research, data entry, etc. While those are indeed necessary, it is also important to be actively seeking out new skills and experiences in using tools and software to increase your opportunities in getting hired.
VA SALARY
Please be advised that the fixed monthly and hourly rate that you discussed with your recruitment manager is inclusive of transfer fees
- OA VAs are paid with their salary twice a month (fortnightly)
- The release of OA VA bonuses, incentives, reimbursements and activity budgets are also scheduled during payroll

Our system for Angel Points is a way of appreciating our wonderful angels for doing what they love. We appreciate all efforts that our angels do to continue to upskill and pursue personal development courses/trainings. Angel Points are redeemed each month for a corresponding cash bonus.
What do you do to earn Angel Points?
To help you on your way to earn more Angel Points, here are some tips:
CLIENT UPGRADE / REFERRAL
Once your client upgrades you or hires another OA VA or refers another client to us, you will receive a $100 bonus in appreciation to the good impression that you made with your client.
This bonus does not apply to doing overtime (OT) hours or having worked more hours some select weeks within the month.
VA REFERRAL
For referring successful VA applicants who are hired by any of our clients:
$25 one-time bonus for part-time roles
$50 one time bonus for for full-time roles
*Release of all bonuses earned will be during payroll schedule
CLIENT UPGRADE / UPSELL
If your client decides to upgrade your service package (part-time to full-time), hire another VA, you will earn a big bonus as our appreciation of the good service and confidence that you have established with your client on behalf of Outsourcing Angel

QUARTERLY & ANNIV BONUS
Bonuses are determined based on your performance and client feedback and MANAGER'S endorsement
If you diligently work and fulfill your role in your client's business, it is possible that BEFORE your first work anniversary with us (and succeeding work anniversaries), you may have received about 150% of your monthly base salary amount by earning these quarterly performance bonuses that we have in store for you - PLUS payrise from your client/s if you did an awesome job!

In every organisation, communication is key. Proper communication is the secret to a seamless working environment and proper communication leads to less hassles in case of emergencies.
Outsourcing Angel enables its VAs to properly communicate with the admin and other VAs with an abundance of medium you can choose from.
It is important to make use of project management tools to have a tool to organise and line up tasks that you will be assigned to work for your client.
