- He starred in his own movie Darius Gone West, which documented his experiences traveling around the country and about wheelchair accessibility
- He wanted to travel a lot and speak at events before his death and his movie made it possible.

- Not so fun fact but Darius unfortunately died on October 9th, 2016 from heart complications as a result of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He was 27 years old.
