Farm Land

When poverty is overwhelming in an area it is important to give dignity not just charity. MFO has 7 acres of sustainable farm land. Currently the crops growing are maize, beans, bananas, pumpkin, potato, sweet potato, skumawiki, cabbage, avocado, guava, cassava, and fish ponds with tilapia, all of which are sustainable crop to help allow for providing food for the orphanage and widows.

Tea is grown to sell for an income for the orphanage. MFO currently has over 8300 tea plants that are continuously harvested and sold to a co-op.
