The HACT program would come into fruition during the year of 2022 in Harlem. Throughout these next 4 years we hope to collaborate with the City to design a youth program that provides educational and recreational activities for children and young adults.

Workshops
The effectiveness of this program is see a drop is after school suspension by enabling the youth with a place to be that directly affects the school to prison pipeline.
When the youth is educated it separates them from others. These students will be the next activist of their time and if you eliminate the stigma of undereducated and ill informed. Education makes the biggest difference in lives of recidivism and deterrence.
Strengths
The biggest weakness of the program is the lack inclusivity and diversity, no program will be “perfect”. The program targets youth ages 12-18. There are threats to success within the program. Diversity is more than just color of skin, there is outside and inside diversity. Without a selection process there is no way to secure diversity. A good program will ensure the underrepresented population are present but diversity does not exclude the other part of the location. Matter of race are extremely important to people of color but is also important that other people are participating in these conversations and workshops.
