1927

The First Electronic Television was Invented in 1927

The world's first electronic television was created by a 21 year old inventor named Philo Taylor Farnsworth. Farnsworth's system captured moving images using a beam of electrons.

1936

Emyvisor & Cossor

In the year 1936 two TVs were invented, the first one was the Emyvisor which had Black & white coloring. The other TV was the Cossor which not only showed pictures in black and white but also in color.

1939

RCA

RCA introduced television to the American public at the 1939 World's fair. Before the fair, they published a brochure for their dealers to explain television.

1948

Motorola

Motorola's "Golden View" was the most popular 7-inch television in the late 1940s and early 1950s. It came in both tabletop and portable cabinets and it was one of the cheapest TVs available at the time.

1958

Philco

The Philco Predicta television is one of the best design icons for the 20th century. This television was one of the most affordable televisions in the 20th century.

1973

Philco-Ford

The 1973 Philco-Ford model is one of the last "vacuum tube" sets. It was in this time period that the American television set industry migrated to a transistorized TV chassis.

2007

Samsung

Samsung emerged as one of the largest flat panel TV producer worldwide. Samsung also introduced a ten-millimeter thick only, 40-inch LCD television panel for the first time too.

Present

Apple

Apple will be releasing the 5th generation of their TV product. It is said to be one the most convenient types of television styles with its easy portable ability that makes it mobile.
