- CC is one of the 7 competences (1st one DECREE 126/2014, February 28) we should develop in our ss. In our class through CHUNGOPOINT METHOD (explain how and give examples). AS the law establishes: give priority to oral expression.
- Communicative language competences= empower a person to act using linguistic means.
- It is composed by linguistic, sociolinguistic and pragmatic.
- Linguistic competences include lexical, phonological, syntactical knowledge and skills and other dimensions of language as system. GADNER: allows process information. CHOMSKY: ability to say and create new messages.
- Sociolinguistic competences= sociocultural conditions. Produce and understand depending on CONTEXT.
- Pragmatic competences = adjust message to circumstances.
- Importance of NON-VERBAL elements for a SUCCESSFUL use of these competences.
