SO Strategy

1. Develop a system regarding monitoring the expenses of funds and donations to ensure that the resources are maximized that will be practiced also in the PAFOS. (S2, O1, O2, O5)

2. Build international connections with foreign countries to learn and adapt the advantageous practices that will enable us to improve our type of education system. (S1, S3, S4, S5, O3, O4)

WO Strategy

1. Alot donations from various treaties to address lacking and shortcomings of facilities (W1,W2,O1,O2)

2. Alot more funding for facilities and a better working environment for students and instructors. (W2,W4,O2)

3.Use of ALM to overcome shortcomings in study areas (W2,O4)

4. Alot donations for possible focus on the purchase of equipment and hardware for the training school. (W5,W3,O3,O1)

OPPORTUNITIES

1. Mutual Defense Treaty in which US donates a lot of equipments and aircrafts to Philippines.

2. AFP Modernization Program allocating more funds to Philippine Air Force.

3. Transition of Philippine Defense: Internal to External Defense which requires more aircraft since PAF is the second line of defense.

4. Alternative Learning Methods such as google classroom instructions, modular instructions, online class, etc.

5. DTI Chief urged European biz to invest in Philippines Defense

THREATS

1. Lack of training aircraft that causes delay in training (T-41 and SF-260)

2. Russia-Ukraine conflict that is affecting the Philippines Security interests which includes its impact on Economic and Financial interests

3. Climate change affecting the Training of the Students such as irregular Weather changes.

4. Lack of Fighter Aircraft since only 5 out of 12 FA-50PH are Operational

5. West Philippine Sea dispute with China because the growing complications can affect the PAF in the future

ST Strategy

1.Develop action plan organizing the funds of the AFP to effectively modernize the aircraft availability that will develop growth in the knowledge and hands on education system in the PAF. (S1,T1,T4)

2.Utilize the modernization program in the AFP to sustain the changes needed in the development of the PAF(S4,T1,T4)

3. Focus on the demands of the transition of the PAF from the internal to external defense by regularly monitoring the development in the PAF system. (S5,T2,T5)

4.Allot more funds for the training of the PAF students and instructors to avoid any further conflicts in their education.(S2,S3,T3)

WT Strategy

1. Take advantage of the new aircrafts being procured and donated through the AFP Modernization Program to help in the training of the pilots of the PAF. (W5, T1, T4)

2. Allot funds for the repair of the barracks and other facilities so that weather related effects can be minimized or eliminated such as damage to the barracks and cancellation of training due to lack of facilities. (W1, W2, W3, T3)

3. Improve facilities so that more competent instructors will be enticed to apply at PAFOS and be able to help the students in understanding the external conflicts of our country and be able to acquire the knowledge to combat them. (W1, W2, W4, T2, T5)
