It is necessary to make better sense of diverse sources of literacy (radio, television, Internet, newspapers, books, digital archives and libraries) that move rapidly towards a common platform.
In this type of grapevine, one person is predominant. He transmits information to different persons or groups.
It has several groups of people linked together by a cluster or chain of communication.
It is the most common pattern in which information passes through a series of people linked together in the organization.
Most rumors or idle gossip spread through a haphazard network, which includes a number of people who are not necessarily linked by any organization thread.
Because in a technology-infused 21st century world, communication has become "more social". You may be interested to note that every piece of information, media, and technology needs to have a social dimension.
Review:
There are various strategies in which MIL Instructions can be conducted in school Libraries. These various strategies are explained below.
The information search process approach to MIL emphasizes thinking about information using information within a problem solving perspective, it does not discard the knowledge from earlier approaches , such as the knowledge of tools, sources, and search strategies, but it does emphasize that this knowledge is to be developed within the teaching of thinking and problem-solving.
Kuhlthau’s model of the Information Search Process is the basis of the Guided Inquiry Model (Kuhlthau et al., 2007). The model is based on six principles:
• Children learn by being actively engaged in and reflecting on experience.
• Children learn by building on what they already know .
• Children develop higher-order thinking skills through guidance at critical points in the learning process.
• Children have different ways and modes of learning .
• Children learn through social interaction with others.
• Children learn through instructions and experience in accord with their cognitive development.
