I help students become well-rounded citizens by:

I address the needs of students with Individualized Learning Plans by:
- Creating summary sheets to be well versed in their individual goals and accommodations
- Small group instruction during independent work time (based on objective or skill level)
- Chunking and scaffolding information
- Modifying the presentation of materials
- Using student friendly graphic organizers
- Providing and building background knowledge
- Providing wait time after asking a question or giving directions
- Creating inclusive seating arrangements (ie: proximity to board or next to a buddy/partner)
- Using math manipulatives
- Giving precise feedback
- Creating a calm down corner

- Answering and responding to calls and emails within 24 hours
