Motive - The opportunity my parents have given me by sending me to MUS and the opportunity Mississippi State has given me through the Presidential Scholar Program

  • Graduated from White Station High School in 1965
  • Attended the University of Tennessee but did not graduate
  • Graduated from the Methodist School of Nursing
  • OBGYN nurse at St. Joseph Hospital East (St. Francis)
  • Raised her 4 daughters
  • First Evangelical Church to Second Presbyterian Church

Margaret Munn

  • 1928 - 2001
  • Adopted at birth by Cecil and Margaret Munn
  • Lived in Enid, OK
  • daughter of the largest grain dealer in Enid
  • Adopted parents died when she was young, taken in by Oven family
  • Eloped with Charles Sr. in 1946 at 18 years old
  • Raised her 4 children
  • Grew up in the Presbyterian church but later joined the Episcopalian church
  • Helped start the sunday school program at St. Johns Episcopal Church

David Leake
