The Bill of Rights is a list of limits on government power. It consists of all the first ten amendments.

- Makes former slaves citizens
15th Amendment

16th Amendment (1913)

17th Amendment (1913)
-The direct election of senators
18th Amendment (1919)
-Prohibiton of liquor
19th Amendment (1920)
-ANYONE, regardless of sex has right to vote.
20th Amendment
- This set the date for which fedeal Government elected offices end.
21st Amendment
-Fun fact: it repealed the 18th amendment :)

22nd Amendment (1951)
- Limit on presidential terms
23rd Amendments (1961)
- District of Columbia recieves electoral votes.
24th Amendments (1964)
- Prohibits Fedeal and State governments from charging poll taxes.
26th Amendment
- 18 year old can vote.
25th Amendment
-Presidential Sucession. If the president cannot be in power, the Vice president will take over.
-iIf he there's no Vice, the Senate approves one.
27th Amendment
- Any change in the congressional salary takes place after the general election. Sets when Congress can recieve pay raise
