Summary
Mei, a young adult who is an academic tutor, takes an offering for the summer to tutor Mrs. Morison's daughter, young Ella Morison. When summer finally comes around, Mei heads to Arrow Island to stay there for the summer and tutor Ella Morison. After she unpacks her suitcases she shuts her eyes and in a second she's fast asleep later that night she hears screaming and crying. Thinking it was Ella she gets up and tells Ella that's, enough not knowing that whatever she heard was not Ella at all it was a ghost named Eleanor.

Near the end of the story Mei and finds out that Henry, Ella's older brother always knew all about Eleanor and how he's also been hearing her. They both feel sorry for Eleanor because she didn't even get a mention in Family Cursed: A History of Arrow Island ( a book that Mei bought for Ella to convince her that Eleanor wasn't real) the story ends with Eleanor peacefully resting. After all we find out that Eleanor was just an illusion and was never real since the beginning.

The protagonist is Eleanor. Eleanor is a ghost who haunts the Morison family especially Ella and Mei the tutor. She has sharp teeth and a dress that is covered i bloodstains and she is filled with rage and will do anything possible to avenge her family who used to live in the Arrow Head Island beach house.

The main character is a young adult ,Mei ,she is Ella's tutor ,Ella is an 8 year old. She is a very shy girl and very superstitious .There is also Mrs. Morison, she is Ella's mother and Henry's . Henry is a young adult he isn't the nicest but he helps out the main character throughout the story.

The conflict of my book is that Ella and her tutor Mei, see this terrifying figure which is Eleanor. She is a ghost filled with rage that haunts both Ella and Mei but they cannot tell anyone about her because they feel threatened by her and they don't want people to think that they are crazy or childish.
Theme
The theme of the book is danger. I believe this is the theme because both Ella and Mei are threatened by her because they feel like they cannot tell anyone that they are being haunted by Eleanor since she is filled with major rage and will do anything to avenge her family. Also they don't want to tell anyone that they are seeing ghost because people will think that they are childish and crazy.

I recommend this book to people that are into mysterious and ghost stories. It was a really good novel that builds up suspense and keeps the readers hooked on to what will happen next.
