A student brought a red gummy bear that he found on the floor into the office becasue he thougth there was marijuana on it.

She carefully took the gummy bear to the SRO's office and informed him of the situation

The SRO cut off a piece of the gummy and tested it in his office and when the test came out negative, he determined the "marijuana" was actually grass.

An LDMC Replacement Hearing
A student was in LDMC, Lockhart Dicipline Managment Center, for fighting a student and also for having drugs on campus. His sentence was about to come to an end in a few days and needed t0 get the right materials from the school to return properly.
The student in disscussion was able to advocate for what he would need to return to school. All of the materials he and the teacher suggested he need for his return were accepted. The student was now ready to return to school once his time was served.
A Stolen

Investigating for a Stolen Phone
Ms.Soliz brought in the student who is suspected of stealing the phone. Student did have cell phone and apologigezed for taking it. She returned the phone and was given in school suspension for taking the phone.
A mom and her daughter came to the school to report that her daughters phone was stolen on the bus . The student claimed that she knew who took her phone. Ms.Soliz took down the contact information for the parent and said she would investigate.

As a principal, leading your campus and staff are very important.

Ms.Soliz was tasked with leading a situation where several students were caught using a marijuana vaporizing pen. She pulled all the students from class, had them checked by the nurse, and then proceeded to call all their parents. Once the parents were contacted, the campus SRO,school resource officer, and proceeded to arrest all students involved.

Ms.Soliz was called into an admin meeting to discuss about how teachers are feeling down and what they as a team could do to help the teachers become less down and depressed. Ms.Soliz suggested they do an attendance incentive for teachers with a variety of prizes
