- Odysseus visited the land of the Phaeacians and met the ghost of Agamemnon. He tells the story of his death.

- Agamemnon thought the reason for Clytemnestra killing him was the love between her and Aegisthus. While Agamemnon was in Troy, Clytemnestra and Aegisthus were planning his death. Cassandra predicted that she and another person would die that day. Agamemnon screamed, and Clytemnestra announced that she killed her husband.
- Clytemnestra and Aegisthus kept Electra alive to lure Orestes to the palace. Orestes had duties to fulfill to both his mother and father. He goes to Apollo to make the choice, and Apollo says to murder his father's murderers. Orestes goes to the palace and kills Aegisthus then Clytemnestra. After killing them, he felt guilty, so he fled. He comes back after a few years and admits he was the one at fault for killing his mother. Athena accepts the statement, and...
