-Cyberbullying is the act of tormenting, threatening, or torturing others online.

-It involves the spread of hateful commentd or remarks that can also be spread from person to person.

-Harassment (repeatedly sending messages)

-Flaming (insulting)

-Outing (revealing private things)

-Degradation (spread of lies or rumors)

-Deception (impersonating someone to create a false account)

-Instant Messages

-Forums and Chat Rooms

-Gaming Sites

What does it do to someone?

Effects

It can:

-Cause anxiety, stress, depression, emotional scarring, aggression, loss of security, and suicidal emotions, the last of which is most serious

You should:

-NOT join the bullying

-Tell an parent, teacher, counselor, or other trusted adult

-Stand up to the bullying and show your support for victims
