Taking risks is very common in life. Taking risks can come with befits and and dangers. Every day everyone takes a risk.
Many teens take risks every day. There are risk that they take that are good but some can be dangerous. Common risky behaviors are, smoking. taking drugs, driving dangerously, drinking alcohol, unprotected and/or underage sex, or criminal activities.
Taking risks are apart of everyone's life. Some can end good, and other can end bad. Teens brains are still growing, including the decision making pert. Your brain stops developing in your early adult life. Some risks can also be caused by peer pressure. Everyone wants to belong, so the give into peer pressure and take risks.
Many people make major decisions, that lead to consequences. Most decisions require, thought and reflection, thinking through consequences, thinking through how the decision may impact on others, and reflecting on how the decision will impact you personally.
Deciding on what risky behavior you should take part in requires a lot of thought. Most good decisions are well thought out, and most bad decisions are not well thought out. It is hard to stand up for yourself, so sometimes it can be hard to choose the right decision. If you are having trouble deciding, you could always ask an adult.
When my grandfather was 13 he started to smoke. After that he was smoking every day. When he got older he ended up getting a heart attack because of it. After that he stopped smoking.
