Changes in the brain- .affects our ability to remember, multitask, and pay attention.
Fertility issues- Men less sperm, Pregnant women who use marijuana might be more likely to have babies with developmental and behavioral problems.
Respiratory problems- People who smoke marijuana a lot can develop problems with the lungs. Ex.) More mucus in lungs, a chronic cough, bronchitis, respiratory infections, lung diseases, and Tar build up in lungs
Immune system problems- Using marijuana a lot might make it harder for the body to fight off infections. Slows down the ability to produce white blood cells to help fight sicknesses.
Mental and Emotional problems- People who use a lot of marijuana are more likely to say they notice signs of depression or anxiety.
If someone has a condition like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, marijuana can sometimes make symptoms worse.
Recent studies are showing that it can cause these mental health issues to manifest in users.
It will stop the brain and body of the teenager from reaching full adulthood. Their brain may not make the connections needed for behavior, understanding, and more so that they can function like an adult.

Marijuana can be addictive. About 1 in 10 people who use the drug regularly can develop an addiction. These people can't stop using marijuana even though it causing problems in their lives. This is much more likely to happen in people who start using marijuana before age 18.

- Coordination- Cerebellum becomes affected and effects can cause fine tune movements to be affected in which can start to affect athletic ability, as well.
- Judgment- frontal lobe becomes affected so decision making is affected. You are more likely to engage in risky behavior, such as unprotected sex or getting in a car with someone who’s been drinking or is high on marijuana.
