NYC is home to 3.1 Million immigrants. They make up 38% of the city population and 45% of its workforce.

Eye behavior can be linked to personality traits or emotional states - like "hungry eyes", "evil eyes", or "bedroom eyes".

Functions of eye contact include: signaling cognitive activity, express engagement, convey intimidation, or express flirtation.

Middle East: Men look at women they are interested in. Women shouldn't look back unless interested too.

Asia/Africa: Extended eye contact could be a challenge of authority. Whereas in Japan, a woman avoiding eye contact is not considered disrespectful.
