Special Techniques For RDH

Fine: gentle polish, ideal for younger patients

Medium: normal adult cleaning, where a high level of

polish and plaque removal is desired

Coarse: Used on adults with substantial build-up & stain

Extra Course: Adults with stain build-up that is difficult to remove.

  • RDH control the speed, pressure, and the rate of abrasion that is applied to the tooth.
  • RDH need to choose appropriate polishing agent based on the individuals Oral Health.
