Design Thinking
Extraordinaires Design Project: Round 1 (20 min)
- Step 1: Grab your Character and Project Card.
- Step 2: Pick a Think Card.
- Step 3: Ideate with your group members. Remember to:
- Use the observations you made yesterday to brainstorm solutions that meet the needs of your character.
- Step 4: Answer the prompts to the Think Card on the back of your design sheet.
- Step 5: Sketch and describe your design.
- I will come around and ask questions as you work.
- I will take pictures of your design and upload it to The Extraordinaires website so that we can become a part of their community.
Prototype

- Go through the ideas that you brainstormed in the Ideate phase.
- Choose the strongest idea, or combine multiple ideas - as the basis for your prototype.

Grading Rubric
- On the provided worksheet, generate as many ideas as you can (go for 10!)
- As IDEO "voted up" their best ideas, do the same with your group by starring those ideas that you think are strongest.
