Bennie's
- Reasonably priced
- Appeals to a large number of students
- Very profitable
The High school food court Project
Opportunity Cost/Trade Off: Instead of using a healthier, less appealing, and less profitable restaurant, we chose Bennie's as it is reasonably priced, more appealing, and would provide greater profits for the student council.

Taco villa
Our goal
- Appeals to a large number of students
- High in demand
- Very profitable
- It is an affordable option for students coming from lower income families
Conclusion
Opportunity Cost/Trade Off: To maximize profits for our student council and to ensure a satisfying and affordable meal for our students we had to give up the opportunity of a healthier and more environmentally friendly restaurant.
Profit margins
To determine the 5 best restaurants that will suit the needs of Oak Grove High school students while creating a profit for the student council
In choosing to use Taco Villa, WildCat's Den, HunanWok, Bennies, and Veggie Vitties, we found a balance that not only would meet student needs and interests but also provide plenty of profits to the student council, as well as accommodating the wishes of Dr. Calderon, Mr. Cash, Mr. Muir, and Mrs. Tanya Stravinsky to the best of our abilities.
HunanWok
Veggie vittles
Wildcat's Den
- Appeals to a large number of students
- Affordable
- Highly profitable
- Adds an ethnic variety to the students food choices
- Provides a healthier vegetarian option for students
- It is reasonably priced
- Environmentally sound business practices
- Reasonably priced
- One of the healthier options
- The restaurant provides student workers valuable experience in the restaurant industry
- The restaurant does not use business practices that negatively effect the environment
Opportunity Cost/Trade Off: We gave up the opportunity to use a restaurant with more environmental friendly practices but less profit in order to use a restaurant that would appeal to a larger number of students and maximize profits for the student council, as well as providing an affordable meal to the students.
Opportunity cost/Trade off: We gave up the opportunity for a non-vegetarian restaurant that would appeal to more students and bring in a larger profit, to ensure that their would be a reasonably priced healthy vegetarian option for our students and to help minimize the impact the school has on the environment.
Opportunity Cost/Trade Off: We gave up the chance to use a high profiting restaurant in order for one that does not profit as much but instead gives student's valuable hands-on experience in the restaurant industry.
