Integration into UTSA Athletics

The Solid Waste Management Department will be completely integrated into a year-round strategic partnership program with UTSA Athletics which may include, but is not limited to:

  • On-Site Marketing
  • Radio and Media
  • Social Media
  • Business to Business Opportunties

The Solid Waste Management Department will have the opportunity to be integrated into UTSA Athletics' Social Media Network including Facebook and Twitter. UTSA Athletics' Facebook Page has more than 15,000 Likes, and the Twitter page has over 5,500 Followers. This will provide the Solid Waste Management Department to:

  • Post a co-branded :30 second video onto UTSA Athletics' social media sites promoting their initiatives
  • Run an interactive promotion where fans will be rewarded for disposing of their waste properly

Nelligan Sports Marketing can facilitate relationships between the Solid Waste Management Department and NSM's corporate partners to help grow their organic recycling campaign. Partners include, but are not limited to:

  • Pizza Hut
  • Silver Eagle
  • H-E-B

Through on-site marketing the Solid Waste Management Department can reach the thousands of fans who attend UTSA Athletic Events each year. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Two (2) :30 second commercials to be shown on the video wall at each UTSA Football game
  • Opportunity to host on-site events at all home UTSA football games to interact directly with UTSA Fans
  • Two (2) PA announcements at all home UTSA Men's and Women's Basketball games, and Baseball games.

Partnering with UTSA Athletics' will provide your company with the opportunity to associate itself with UTSA Athletics. This could include the opportunity to:

  • Produce co-branded commercials
  • Utilize Rowdy the Roadrunner in its advertising
  • Co-branded displays

Radio and Media

All of UTSA's Football, and Men's Basketball games are broadcast on the Roadrunner Sports Network on the Clear Channel Radio Network using the Ticket 760 as its Flagship Station. The Solid Waste Management Department will have the opportunity to reach its listeners through the following avenues:

  • Two (2) :30 second radio spots in all radio broadcasts of UTSA Football and Men's Basketball
  • Two (2) radio live reads in all radio broadcasts of UTSA Football and Men's Basketball
