THESIS STATEMENT: The water scarcity issue of the country has a direct effect on the quality of life and future development in Bangladesh.
1. Observing that in the late 1970s, approximately four million wells were drilled to replace the traditional contaminated surface water sources.
2. Alarmed by the fact that some wells contain arsenic concentration, red signs had been painted, after that the community was no more supposed to take water from the well.
3. Aware of the arsenic crisis on an individual level is concerning, the more acute impacts are seen at the community level

Dhaka, has been over consuming water for the last few years. There must have been some gray water which could be used. As Bangladesh is facing water crisis, gray water can be very useful for the whole country, if that water goes through a filtering process, then it is totally fine to use it and will be helpful to save water for the future. Another very common reason for water scarcity is irrigation, this method will limit the water use for agriculture, and capture the excess for other uses.
1. In Bangladesh, groundwater is used the most compared to surface water, because surface water is easily contaminated naturally and by human activities.By using excess of groundwater the level of it has lowered.
2. Because of the Arsenic concentrations and diseases caused by water scarcity and contaminations, from Bangladesh’s population one in five people die because of water scarcity.
1. The water scarcity will increase. The population of the country, Bangladesh, is growing day by day, but the water sources aren’t. In some cases, people in Dhaka (capital of Bangladesh) are over consuming water, because of the availability. Even though there is child mortality, the population will still grow. According to a water table, groundwater availability is declining rapidly due to its excessive use for irrigation, agriculture, and human activities. This has posed a serious threat to the ecosystem and biodiversity of the southern part of Bangladesh. Currently, the groundwater is the most valuable water source of Bangladesh. If this resource, continues to get polluted, and used-up it would destabilize the security of food and water in peoples life.
2. Bangladesh has a lot of water scarcity. Today, bangladesh is not a well known county due to its poverty and water scarcity. Predicting for the future, the country’s level would still be low, because of the minimum amounts of water crisis improvements. This scarcity in Bangladesh, will cause the country to be a weakened country, refuges, intrastate conflicts and decreases economic activity. The country will be weakened because of the growing population, simultaneously with the growing water scarcity.
