After the Tire.

Where the Tire is manufactured

After the tire has been used by the consumer, the tire is normally thrown out, which is then taken to a landfill. Then the tire is burnt down into rubber and used to make new tires, so using and throwing away tires isn't bad for the environment it helps to create more tires for other peoples cars.

Michelin Tires are manufactured in Italy and Spain.

The tire goes through a large process of melting down the rubber into a mold, which is then rolled into straight even layers. Several of these layers are layered together to make the tire. This process happens with 9 layers of the tire.

After the Tire has been made it then gets cured, meaning that the rubber is made stiffer for the wheels on a car.

After the tire is cured it is then stored in the warehouse in the country where it was made, for example Spain or Italy, then after a certain amount of time the tire is shipped by air or sea to the stores around the world selling the tires. Michelin has all of its stores in America so all of the tires get shipped here and then sold.
