Present Day
- In the 21st Century, transportation technology continues to improve with the advancement of automibles, planes, trains, buses, etc.
- From a globalization stand point, the advancement of transportation has effected the world dramatically.
Onto the 20th Century
- In 1903, the Wright Brother designed and flew the first engined airplane
- The first Supersonic Jet had its first flight 40 years later
- Finally the Space Shuttle was launched in 1981

Progressing into the 19th century
- In 1807, Robert Fulton Clermont invented the first regular service steamboat
- Following this, the locomotive steam powered railroad was invented in 1814.
- Many years later, Karl Benz built the world's first practical automobile to be powered by an internal combustion engine.
