- Industrial factory farms create as much untreated waste as 8.6 million people each year (Wisconsin Environment , n.d.).

- Which makes them unfit for fishing, swimming, and any other activities done at the lake

The number of factory farms in Wisconsin has nearly doubled in the last 8 years, which is greatly increasing the amount of pollution!

According to Wisconsin Environment "Wisconsin has some of the most beautiful lakes in the country. These are the lakes familes go to on vacation, or to get away for the weekend, except lately these lakes, and streams are suffering from pollution. Which has caused these lakes to be covered with algae, and chocked with weeds."
